Google Chrome Beta 44.0.2403.39 Now Available


Google Chrome Beta channel has been updated to version 44.0.2403.39 for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. Apparently, this new update fixes a number of crashes and other bugs.

Google Chrome 44 beta includes a new cadence based rendering algorithm that improves video rendering in Chrome. This release also includes a number stability and performance improvements.

What's new in Chrome Beta 44?
According to Google Chrome Blog, Chrome 44 beta will intelligently pause content (like Flash animations) that aren’t central to the webpage, while keeping central content (like a video) playing without interruption. This feature will be enabled by default on Chrome’s latest desktop Beta channel release, and will be rolling out soon to everyone else on Chrome desktop. You can manually enable or disable this feature by head to Chrome’s content settings and select "Detect and run important plugin content" or "Run all plugin content" respectively.

Chrome beta 44 also contains many improvements including::
  • A new cadence based rendering algorithm that improves video rendering in Chrome.
