Firefox 28.0 Beta 9 Now Available for Download

Mozilla has released Firefox 28.0 Beta 9 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. This update most likely brings stability improvements and bug fixes over the previous release.

What's new in Firefox 28.0 Beta?
Firefox 28.0 Beta is touch-friendly, tile-based Firefox is optimized for Microsoft’s Windows 8 Modern UI and designed to ensure users get the best Firefox browsing experience possible on their Windows 8 tablets, touch-screen laptops and other compatible devices.

Firefox for Android includes more native text selection, cut, and copy. This release also adds multiple quick share buttons and the awesomebar entries now trigger predictive lookup. Learn more about Firefox for Android here.

  • Firefox 28 Final is scheduled to be released on March 18, 2014.

  • Support for multi-line flexbox in layout.
  • Experimental support for CSS sticky positioning (Aurora only).
