Microsoft will release 9 security bulletins on February 14th

Microsoft has issued a Security Bulletin Advance Notification for the February security bulletin release. This month’s release includes nine bulletins,  four Critical and five Important, to address 21 vulnerabilities across Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, .NET Framework, Microsoft Silverlight and and Microsoft Server Software. Seven of these are meant to patch security holes that could allow Remote Code Execution, while two of them fix breaches that could allow Elevation of Privilege.

These bulletins are scheduled to be released on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at approximately 10 a.m. PST. For more information about the security updates that will be released on February 14, see Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification for February 2012.
