Microsoft Deployment Toolkit build 8443 is available for download

Microsoft made available for download the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), build 8443, the newest version of MDT, a Solution Accelerator for operating system and application deployment. MDT build 8443 includes support for Windows 10 version 1607, Windows Server 2016, Windows ADK for Windows 10 version 1607 and Configuration Manager version 1606.

MDT is a free tool for automating Windows and Windows Server operating system deployment, leveraging the Windows ADK for Windows 10.

MDT is the recommended process and toolset for automating desktop and server operating system deployments. MDT provides you with the following benefits:

  • Unified tools and processes, including a set of guidance, for deploying desktops and servers in a common deployment console.
  • Reduced deployment time and standardized desktop and server images.

  • Support for Windows 10 version 1607 and Windows Server 2016.
