- The Cumulative Update 9 package can be used to perform a new installation of Exchange Server 2013 or to upgrade an existing Exchange Server 2013 installation to Cumulative Update 9.
- You do not have to install Cumulative Update 1 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2013 when you install Cumulative Update 9.
Overview
Cumulative Update 9 (CU9) for Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 provides the latest fixes for Exchange Server 2013 SP1. This cumulative update resolves security issues that are described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3062157.
