How to add Libraries to the navigation pane of File Explorer in Windows 8.1

In Windows 8.1, if you sign in with a Microsoft Account, you discovered that the libraries have disappeared from navigation pane of File Explorer (see Figure 1 below) . Thus, in this tutorial, I will show you how to add Libraries to the navigation pane of File Explorer in Windows 8.1 tablet or PC.

To add "Libraries" to the navigation pane of File Explorer in Windows 8.1 just follow these steps:

Step 1: Open File Explorer, You can do this in Desktop mode by clicking the File Explorer icon in the taskbar, or in the Start Screen by typing file and then clicking File Explorer. (You can also press the Windows logo key + E keys to open File Explorer.)

Step 2: Right click or press and hold on a empty space in the navigation pane, and click or tap on Show libraries (Figure 2).

Note: To remove Libraries from the navigation pane of File Explorer in Windows 8.1. Right click or press and hold on a empty space in the navigation pane, and click/tap on Show libraries to uncheck it.

When you return to File Explorer, you'll see that Libraries are back in the Navigation Pane (Figure 3).
