Skype for Windows Desktop 6.13 - Quality and stability improvements

Microsoft has released version 6.13 of Skype for Windows Desktop. This update improved various areas of the client and increase overall stability. Version 6.13 should especially addressed the "High CPU"/"Skype lagging after update" issue when Skype for Windows desktop is running with Chrome as default browser. This update also addressed a few other bugs including enhanced stability during both group video call and in High DPI mode.

What's new in Skype for Windows Desktop 6.1x?
Skype for Windows Desktop contains the following updates:

New design
Skype comes with a new welcome screen that gives you easier to reach sign-in options. To sign in to Skype for Windows desktop, click Skype Name, or Microsoft account or Sign in with Facebook and enter appropriate password then click Sign in.

If you don’t have a Microsoft account and you’ve never used Skype. Once you’ve downloaded and installed Skype for Windows desktop, click Microsoft account and click Sign up now and follow the instructions to create your Microsoft account.
