How to view the size of installed Apps in Windows 8.1?

In Windows 8/8.1, you cannot see how large your Windows Store apps from the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs). Thus, in this tutorial, I will show you how to view the size of installed Windows Store apps on your Windows 8.1 tablet or PC.

To view the size of installed apps in Windows 8.1
To view the size of installed apps from Windows Store in Windows 8.1, just follow these steps:

Step 1: Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
  • If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.


Step 2: On the PC Settings screen, tap or click Search and apps.


Step 3: On the Search and apps screen, tap or click App sizes. You should now be able to see the disk space consumed by each app.


Now, you can check what apps is using how much space, you can remove any unnecessary apps to free-up space and use it to store your important files.

To Uninstall app
On Apps sizes screen, tap or click app that you want to remove then tap or click Uninstall button.
