What's new in Avira Free Antivirus 2013 Update 13?
This build contains the following:
  • Several fixes regarding the Windows 8 compatibility.
  • Send computer name when making calls to My Account.
  • The automatic renewal of the license has been improved.
  • Extend the User Agent String to differentiate between WFP (Windows File Protection), Windows Firewall, Avira FireWall.
  • Improvement in the LocalDecider and the Avira Protection Cloud integration.
  • Bug fixes of the Windows Filtering Platform driver in Mail and WebProtection.
  • The Expert Mode has been removed from the Configuration Center. By default the users will see all options, including those available until now only when Expert Mode was active.
  • Integration of the Avira Toolbar V6 (changed setup flow). The toolbar is offered for installation only after the product is installed.
