โปรแกรม OpenOffice.org นั้นเป็นซอฟต์แวร์สำหรับใช้ในการสร้างและแก้ไขงานเอกสารแบบโอเพนซอร์ส (Open Source) สามารถใช้ในงานต่างๆ ลักษณะเดียวกันกับโปรแกรมสำหรับงานเอกสารเชิงพาณิชย์ยอดนิยมอย่าง Microsoft Office ของไมโครซอฟท์ มีความสามารถในการสร้างไฟลเอกสารได้หลายฟอร์แมตและยังสามารถทำการเปิดไฟล์ เอกสารที่สร้างขึ้นจาก Microsoft Office เพื่อทำการแก้ไขและบันทึกกลับได้อย่างไม่มีปัญหาเรื่องความเข้ากันได้ (Compatible)

Adobe ออก Adobe Reader 9.3.1 และ Acrobat 9.3.1 เพื่อแก้ปัญหาความปลอดภัยร้ายแรงระดับวิกฤติ (Critical) ซึ่งมีผลกระทบกับโปรแกรม Adobe Reader 9.3 และเก่ากว่า และโปรแกรม Acrobat 9.3 และเก่ากว่า ดังนั้น เพื่อความปลอดภัยท่านใดที่กำลังใช้ Adobe Reader 9.3 หรือเก่ากว่ารวมถึงโปรแกรม Acrobat 9.3 และเก่ากว่าให้อัพเดทเป็นเวอร์ชัน 9.3.1

สำหรับปัญหาความปลอดภัยที่พบในโปรแกรมทั้ง 2 ในครั้งนี้มี 2 ช่องโหว่ด้วยกัน คือ หมายเลข CVE-2010-0188 ซึ่งแฮ็คเกอร์ (Hacker) สามารถใช้ในการล้มล้าง Domain Sandbox และทำการส่งคำขอรับบริการข้ามโดเมนโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาตได้ และหมายเลข CVE-2010-0188 ซึ่งแฮ็คเกอร์สามารถทำให้แอพพลิเคชันเกิดการ Crash แล้วเข้าควบคุมระบบได้

วิธีการแก้ไข
