Attack Surface Analyzer is developed by the Trustworthy Computing Security group. It is the same tool used by Microsoft's internal product groups to catalogue changes made to operating system attack surface by the installation of new software.

Adobe has been released Flash Player 11.3.300.270 for Windows to address a crash that was occurring in the Adobe Flash Player Update Service. (FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe)

Adobe recommends that all Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari (and other plugin-based browsers) users on Windows upgrade to the Flash Player 11.3.300.270 to take advantage of these updates.

Google Chrome 21.0.1180.60 Stable adds getUserMedia API support

Google Chrome Stable Update
Google Chrome 21.0.1180.60 has been updated to the Stable channel for Windows and Chrome Frame, 21.0.1180.57 for Mac and Linux. This release includes the getUserMedia API, which lets you grant web apps access to your camera and microphone without a plug-in. The getUserMedia API is the first step in WebRTC, a new real-time communications standard which aims to allow high-quality video and audio communication on the web.

Google Chrome 21.0.1180.60 released to Beta Channel

Google Chrome Beta Channel Update (July 31th, 2012)
